According to Investopedia.com, co-branding is “… a marketing strategy that utilizes multiple brand names on a good or service as part of a strategic alliance. Also known as a brand partnership, co-branding (or “cobranding”) encompasses several different types of branding collaborations, typically involving the brands of at least two companies.”

My favorite bit of co-branding is the tantalizing hookup of Jay’s potato chips with the Open Pit barbeque sauce. The result of that wonderful union is arguably the best BBQ chips you can find in the Chicago area. Good stuff.

Carmakers are not immune to the lure of co-branding, and have engaged in a number of branding partnerships over the years, some to good effect, some not so much. Here we have collected a number of print ads for vehicles which were co-branded. How many of these do you recall? For the record, we realize that the Ultra Brite Volkswagen shown below was just a giveaway car and not an actual production vehicle–we just thought the ad was cool. If you remember any co-branding efforts not pictured here, tell us about it. The place to leave comments is down below.

When it comes to fuel economy, the Mitsubitsi Outlander 2020 is an excellent overall choice, comfortable, good quality, and affordably priced. The all-wheel drive system is a perfect pick. The car is always a great pick in terms of fun for drive and gas mileage, over 30mpg on long distance trips.

It features a Forward Collision Mitigation system that also comes with Pedestrian Detection System. This aids prompt detection if there’s a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian. If so, it warns the driver with audible and visual alerts and applies braking to help avoid or reduce the severity of a collision.

The car is equipped with powerful power folding side mirrors, helping driver during parking to reduce wincing time. Plus, the Mitsubishi’s Passive Entry keyless system is effortless. You’ll only have to touch the start button with your foot to start and put off the engine with the same buton.

You get the vehicle’s power remote liftgate easy. You can load and unload your cargo seamlessly with just a push of a button, the Outlander’s trunk coes ouyt and closes itself with just a finger. What about the features for the elements? The heated steering wheel and the front seat keep you warm for a long period. Safety is also guaranteed because your Outlander comes with a built-in de-icer which prevents wiper blades from obstruction vision by freezing onto the windshield.

    Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2020

    Mitsubishi Pajero 2020 1

Mitsubishi PajeroSport 2020 brags a lot of features that make it a real competitor with Toyota Fortuner, Isuzu MU-X, or Ford Everest. With a tough look, dynamic shield grille, reduced tail lights, new running lights, larger bumpers, and side steps that are slightly mounted higher for ground clearance, this guy’s a great design.

The shell is coated in either white diamond or graphite grey paint options. The interior of the car is a masterclass, thanks to the new 8” touchscreen unit that ensures security notifications and shows state of safety devices.

The auto emergency braking system helps to mitigate collision is another feature you would love. The entire console system is electronic powered by Apple-enabled technologies.

The engine combustion chamber and fuel injector is a carryover of the 133kW/430Nm 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine that lowers the compression ratio. The Pajero Sport’s Super Select 4WD-II features an e-switch drive mode system that splits engine torque, giving the front wheel 40 per cent and the rear wheel 6.
